I. Purpose
Welcome to become a member of the Cosmos Club! The purpose of this membership regulation, as well as the terms, conditions, and specifications referred to or quoted therein, and the versions periodically modified, changed, and added by Cosmos Club (collectively referred to as “this regulation”), is to clearly define the conditions and regulations when you register as a Cosmos Club member and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both parties when using the membership services provided by Aurastro, which is also referred to as “we” or “our” based on the syntactic derivatives of the aforementioned terms.
Before applying to register as a Cosmos Club member, please read this regulation carefully. These terms contain important content related to your rights and obligations and may include limitations and exclusions that may apply to you. When you complete the registration process with Cosmos Club, it means that you have fully read, understood, and accepted all the content of this regulation. If you do not agree with this regulation or any part of it, please immediately stop the registration process.
II. Definition
Unless otherwise specified, the following terms under this regulation have the following meanings:
- “Member”, “Cosmos Club member”, or “you” refers to individuals who, in accordance with this regulation, submit a membership qualification application and complete the registration process to become registered members of the Cosmos Club.
- “Member Services” refer to services provided by Aurastro to members, including managing members’ consumption records and providing various information related to products and consumption. The specific service content is subject to the effective service conditions at the time-of-service occurrence.
- “Aurastro website” refers to the official website of aurastro.com (including websites accessible on both desktop and mobile devices).
III. Member Service Introduction
You must complete the membership application registration process as specified in this regulation to become a member and enjoy and use the member services provided by Aurastro. After becoming a member, you can accumulate the amount of your purchases by using your member account on the Aurastro website (provided there are no refunds or returns). General members and members of higher ranks will receive member shopping credits according to this regulation. Within the valid period of member shopping credits and subject to the terms and conditions of these credits (if any), members can use these credits on the Aurastro website to enjoy corresponding member benefits. When using member shopping credits, members must comply with the terms stated therein (if any) and this regulation. Note that some of Aurastro’s products may not be purchased using shopping credits (for specifics, please refer to Article 7 of this regulation, 'Actual Member Purchase Amount, Cumulative Purchase Amount, Use, and Limitation of Shopping Credits’).
IV. Effect and Changes of this Regulation
- This regulation takes effect for you from the moment you submit a membership qualification application.
- Aurastro may periodically make changes to this regulation as required by applicable laws and regulations, for maintaining transaction order, protecting consumer rights, adjusting the membership system, or member services. If there are changes to this regulation, Aurastro will notify members through one or more of the following methods: 1) email, 2) Aurastro’s official website. Any changes to this regulation will become effective seven days after the date of notification (or the effective date indicated in the notification). Please regularly review to stay informed about relevant changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you should cease using member services before the effective date of the changes, and the changes will not apply to you. If you continue to use member services after the changes become effective, it means that you fully accept the relevant changes.
- When you register as a member or use member services, in addition to this regulation, you also agree to comply with all the relevant terms, conditions, and specifications of Aurastro, including Aurastro’s return and exchange policy, and terms and conditions.
V. Member Registration
- To become a member, you must submit a membership qualification application through the Aurastro official website and complete the registration process. The specific steps include: 1) reading this regulation, 2) registering via LINE or providing your email, 3) providing any other necessary personal information. The information you provide during the membership application process must be accurate, complete, and without omissions. Otherwise, Aurastro reserves the right to reject the application or cancel the registration. All personal data you provide to Aurastro will be subject to the terms and conditions of Aurastro. Each user can only submit one membership qualification application and register one member account. After Aurastro’s review, all duplicate membership qualification applications, duplicated member accounts, and the cumulative consumption amounts, and Cosmos Club shopping credits associated with them will be cancelled.
- Membership qualification cannot be transferred, leased, inherited, or used for other purposes at any time (including but not limited to pledging). Members are responsible for the consequences of violating this provision. Members should properly safeguard their accounts and passwords, and any actions taken with your account are considered to be done by you and subject to your legal responsibilities.
- At any time, we may review the validity of your membership registration information in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, and based on the review results, suspend, or terminate your membership qualification.
VI. Membership Qualification and Restrictions
Unless a member requests withdrawal and submits a withdrawal application or other circumstances occur as specified in this regulation that led to the termination of membership qualification, the membership qualification is permanent. Membership levels have specific validity periods based on your consumption history, and different level members are entitled to specific member benefits within their respective validity periods (for specific member benefits for different levels, please refer to the latest information periodically updated on the Aurastro official website).
- General Member: You can become a general member by completing the membership registration process as specified in Article 5-1 of this regulation.
- Gold Member: You can become a gold member by completing the membership registration process as specified in Article 5-1 of this regulation and accumulating a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 200 within any 12 consecutive months on the Aurastro official website. General members who accumulate a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 200 within any 12 consecutive months on the Aurastro official website will automatically upgrade to gold members from the date they reach the required consumption amount.
- Platinum Member: You can become a platinum member by completing the membership registration process as specified in Article 5-1 of this regulation and accumulating a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 4,000 within any 12 consecutive months on the Aurastro official website. General members/gold members who accumulate a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 4,000 within any 12 consecutive months on the Aurastro official website will automatically upgrade to platinum members from the date they reach the required consumption amount.
- Diamond Member: You can become a diamond member by completing the membership registration process as specified in Article 5-1 of this regulation and accumulating a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 7,000 within any 12 consecutive months on the Aurastro official website. General members/gold members/platinum members who accumulate a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 7,000 within any 12 consecutive months on the Aurastro official website will automatically upgrade to diamond members from the date they reach the required consumption amount.
For regulations regarding actual consumption amounts and accumulated consumption amounts, please refer to Article 7 of this regulation, “Actual Member Purchase Amount, Cumulative Purchase Amount, Use, and Limitation.” Actual consumption amounts and accumulated consumption amounts resulting from malicious order placements, purchases for non-consumption purposes, and other illegal transactions are considered invalid. We have the right to cancel, invalidate, reduce, or adjust the corresponding actual consumption amounts and accumulated consumption amounts accordingly. After successfully becoming a gold member or higher-level member or upgrading membership, if a member’s product or service order in the consumption tier of a gold member or higher-level member results in a refund or return, such that the final actual consumption amount and accumulated consumption amount fall below the required valid consumption amount for becoming the relevant level member or upgrading membership, their membership will be correspondingly downgraded.
2. Validity Period for Different-Level Members:
The validity period for platinum members and diamond members is 12 months (the calculation method for 12 months is as seen in the following example). For newly enrolled platinum members/diamond members, the membership level's validity period starts from the date they become the corresponding level member. For upgraded platinum members/diamond members, or downgraded platinum members, the membership level’s validity period starts from the day of upgrading/downgrading. For example, if a member becomes a diamond member on November 1, 2023, and without valid renewal, the validity period for their diamond member level will expire on October 31, 2024, and they will automatically be downgraded to gold member/platinum member (as the case may be) starting from November 1, 2024.
Unless terminated separately according to this regulation, there is no validity period restriction for general members.
3. Renewal and Restrictions:
- Platinum Member Renewal: Platinum members can renew their membership by accumulating a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 2,500 within the validity period of the platinum member level on the Aurastro official website. The renewal will take effect once the validity period for the platinum member level is completed, and the renewed validity period will be 12 months, starting from the first day after the original membership level’s validity period has ended. If a platinum member accumulates an insufficient valid cumulative consumption amount of less than NTD 2,500 within the validity period of the platinum member level, they will automatically be downgraded to gold member starting from the first day after the original membership level’s validity period has ended.
- Diamond Member Renewal: Diamond members can renew their membership by accumulating a total actual consumption amount of at least NTD 7,000 within the validity period of the diamond member level on the Aurastro official website. The renewal will take effect once the validity period for the diamond member level is completed, and the renewed validity period will be 12 months, starting from the first day after the original membership level's validity period has ended. If a diamond member accumulates a valid cumulative consumption amount of at least NTD 2,500 but less than NTD 5,000 within the validity period of the diamond member level, they will automatically be downgraded to platinum member starting from the first day after the original membership level's validity period has ended.
- If a platinum member/diamond member accumulates an insufficient valid cumulative consumption amount of less than NTD 2,500 within the original membership level’s validity period, they will automatically be downgraded to gold member starting from the first day after the original membership level’s validity period has ended.
For example, if a member becomes a diamond member on November 1, 2023, and accumulates a valid consumption amount of NTD 5,000 within the period from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024, their diamond member level will be automatically renewed starting from November 1, 2024, with a renewed validity period from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025. If they accumulate a valid consumption amount of at least NTD 2,500 but less than NTD 5,000 within the period from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024, on the Aurastro official website, they will be automatically downgraded to a platinum member starting from November 1, 2024, with the platinum member level's validity period from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025, and so on.
VII. Member Actual Consumption Amount, Accumulated Consumption Amount, Use, and Restrictions of Shopping Credit
- Actual Consumption Amount and Accumulated Consumption Amount
- Except as provided in paragraph 5 below, after successfully registering as a member, consumers who shop on the Aurastro official website and actually pay 100% of the product's purchase amount will be counted as the actual consumption amount or accumulated consumption amount (the actual payment amount less than NTD 1 is not included). The effective accumulated consumption amount for purchases on the Aurastro official website will be generated and become effective within 7 working days after the member successfully places an order and makes payment (with no refunds or returns, including partial returns). After purchasing a product, members can follow Aurastro's return policy for returns. If a product is returned (including partial returns) or refunded, the entire order will not be included in the valid actual consumption amount or accumulated consumption amount.
- Members can check their current membership level after logging in to their member account on the Aurastro official website.
- After member registration or upgrade:
- Aurastro official website: Membership will take effect within 1 working day and, once effective, members can accumulate consumption on the Aurastro official website.
4. Shipping charges, cash discounts, coupons, or discount code deductions are not included in the actual consumption amount or accumulated
consumption amount.
5. Despite the provisions in paragraph 1 above, the following situations do not generate any actual consumption amount or accumulated
consumption amount:
- Purchases made outside the Aurastro official website.
- Any consumption amount before becoming a member and before membership takes effect.
- Special designated products not included in the calculation (please refer to the official website for details)
- Shipping charges or other service fees incurred for shopping on the Aurastro official website.
- Special event and promotional event gifts or giveaways
- Products purchased using special coupons/cards or deemed as group purchases.
- If a member resells products purchased on the Aurastro official website, the actual payment amount for the purchased product will not be counted; the accumulated consumption amount that has been generated may be subject to deduction or adjustment by Aurastro.
6. If a member engages in dishonest or illegal transaction activities, Aurastro reserves the right to cancel transactions, deduct or adjust actual
consumption amounts or accumulated consumption amounts, or restrict a member’s ability to accumulate actual consumption amounts or
accumulated consumption amounts.
7. In the event described in paragraph 6 above, if a member disputes whether “dishonest or illegal transaction activities” have occurred, the
member should raise the objection with Aurastro within 14 days after Aurastro takes the corresponding measures, using the official
website’s online customer service or official LINE account and providing Aurastro with the necessary information. Aurastro will inform the
member of the outcome within 10 working days.
8. In the event described in paragraph 7 above, if the member does not raise objections according to the procedures specified in this regulation
within 30 days of Aurastro issuing the outcome notice, it will be considered that the member accepts the outcome.
9. Actual consumption amounts and accumulated consumption amounts cannot be transferred, assigned, or gifted to other members or third
parties.
10. Actual consumption amounts and accumulated consumption amounts cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, exchanged, or reimbursed.
11. Aurastro may periodically make changes to the regulations governing actual consumption amounts or accumulated consumption amounts as
needed. Aurastro will inform members of how to accumulate actual consumption amounts and accumulated consumption amounts through
irregular updates via the Aurastro official website or email.
- Definition and Use of Shopping Credit
- Shopping credit is only valid for use on the original shopping channel. Shopping credit obtained on the Aurastro official website is only valid for use on the Aurastro official website.
- You can use the remaining shopping credit within its validity period to purchase items other than those listed in Section 10 below. However, usage is subject to the terms and conditions of this regulation (if any).
- Shopping credit is valid for 180 days from the date of generation. After this period, shopping credit cannot be used further. When using shopping credit on the Aurastro official website, you must log in to your member account.
- Information about the generation and issuance of shopping credit will be sent simultaneously via email, and members can also check this information on the Aurastro official website.
- In addition to shopping credit, Aurastro may periodically issue other shopping credit and discount coupons that can be used on the Aurastro official website to all or specific members (the combined shopping credit and discount coupons are referred to as “Cosmos Club Shopping Credit/Cosmos Club Discount Coupons”).
- For all Cosmos Club member-exclusive shopping credit/discount coupons, including but not limited to shopping credit, birthday gifts, sign-up gifts, or friend referral rewards, regardless of whether they are used separately or in combination, the total payment amount of an order must be at least 50% of the total purchase price of the items.
- Specific usage conditions and validity periods for various types of Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons will be disclosed to members each time they are issued through the Aurastro official website's member centre or email, among other means. If these conditions are inconsistent with this regulation, the information disclosed at the time of issuance will prevail.
- Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons cannot be transferred, assigned, or gifted to other members or third parties, nor can they be converted to cash. No invoices will be issued for the amounts deducted using Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons.
- Only the member themselves can use the valid Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons generated and issued in their account on the Aurastro official website after logging in.
- The following situations do not allow for the use of any Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons:
- Items purchased on platforms or channels other than the Aurastro official website.
- Shipping costs or other service fees incurred on the Aurastro official website.
- Items designated by Aurastro as not eligible for shopping credit/discount coupons.
- Promotional gifts or giveaways
- Use of other promotional coupons/cards
- Purchases outside the conditions specified for Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons by Aurastro in advance.
- Other circumstances previously announced to members by Aurastro.
11. If a member uses Cosmos Club shopping credit/discount coupons on the Aurastro official website to purchase multiple items in the same order
and subsequently returns some of those items, partial returns are not accepted. Only returns of all items in the entire order will be accepted.
The amount deducted using shopping credit/discount coupons will not be refunded in any form, except for defective returns.
- Correction of Accumulated Consumption Amount
- Any errors in the accumulated consumption amount can be corrected within 30 days after the accumulation or change in the consumption amount. If a member discovers an error in the accumulated consumption amount within 30 days after the accumulation or change and the error is due to Aurastro’s fault, the member can formally request Aurastro to correct the error within the mentioned 30-day period by providing relevant information along with official invoices or other documents approved by Aurastro. Aurastro will make the correction within 45 days after receiving the member's correction request.
- Aurastro is responsible for the operation and management of the accumulated consumption amount. In specific circumstances, Aurastro has the right to deduct or adjust the accumulated consumption amount and will notify the member via email. The member can raise objections to the deduction or adjustment of the accumulated consumption amount within 30 days after Aurastro issues the mentioned notice, using the official website's online customer service or the official LINE account.
- Accumulated Consumption Amount Period
The accumulated consumption amount for each order is valid for 12 months from the date of generation. If the period expires, the accumulated consumption amount for that order will automatically become invalid.
If any accumulated consumption amount is cancelled, deducted, or invalidated according to this regulation, the remaining accumulated consumption amount, following adjustment, will automatically become the final accumulated consumption amount.
VIII. Termination of Membership
- In the following situations, Aurastro has the right to issue immediate termination of a member’s membership without notice, effective from the date of notification. However, in the following cases (3-6), Aurastro may terminate the membership without notice:
- Providing untrue membership application information.
- Incorrectly accumulating consumption amounts or using member services for purposes other than those specified in these regulations.
- Member’s death, incapacity, or becoming a person without a legal representative’s consent or recognition.
- The member engages in disruptive, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, or other improper behaviour towards other members or uses other members' personal information to cause harm to other members or any third parties.
- Maliciously placing orders or engaging in fraudulent, theft, or illegal acquisition of accumulated consumption amounts, subsidies, benefits, or other member privileges (if any).
- The member violates the terms and conditions of these regulations, disrupts public order, good customs, or violates legal provisions.
2. At any time, any member can apply to terminate their membership through the official website’s online customer service or official LINE account.
After receiving your termination request, we will verify your identity, log out your member account upon successful verification, and remove
your personal information from the system as requested, making it unsearchable and inaccessible. At the same time, we have the right to
retain backups of relevant information and records in the back-end system as required by applicable legal regulations, which may include
your personal information.
3. Once the membership is terminated, all accumulated consumption amounts, Cosmos Club shopping gold/coupons, and other member privileges
will immediately become invalid from the date of termination. Even if the member re-applies for registered membership, the above privileges will
not be restored.
4. In the event of any dispute over the termination of membership, both parties shall handle it in accordance with the provisions of Article 11 of
these regulations.
IX. Privacy Policy
- Aurastro uses the information you provide and share to enhance our services and your experience. Aurastro respects the privacy of members. For information on Aurastro’s collection, use, and protection of your personal information, please refer to our “Terms and Conditions”. The “Terms and Conditions” constitute an integral part of these regulations. Before becoming a member and using member services, please read the “Terms and Conditions” carefully. If you use our member services, it is considered that you agree to Aurastro using and protecting your personal information in accordance with the “Terms and Conditions.”
- If you do not agree with this Section 9 or any terms, conditions, and regulations quoted in Section 9 (including but not limited to the “Terms and Conditions”) or any part thereof, please immediately stop using member services.
X. Compensation and Liability Limitation
- You agree to indemnify Aurastro and its group, members of the aforementioned companies, management, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers (collectively referred to as “designated third parties”) against any claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, damages, and claims arising from or related to your actions, your violation of these regulations, your unlawful acts, or your infringement or assistance in infringing the rights of Aurastro and its group and designated third parties, and to defend and protect Aurastro and its group and designated third parties from any harm.
- Unless expressly provided by law and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law,
- Aurastro shall not be liable for any type of indirect, consequential, special, punitive, fines, or incidental damages, regardless of how they arise, whether due to tort, breach of contract, or other reasons.
- To the maximum extent and extent permitted by applicable law, Aurastro declares that it has not made any express or implied warranties or any type of statements or guarantees (except for warranties that cannot be legally excluded for consumers under applicable laws), but this provision does not affect your rights as a consumer under the law.
- In the absence of clear evidence of intentional or gross negligence on the part of Aurastro, Aurastro is not liable for any damage or loss to any member.
3. To the maximum extent and extent permitted by applicable law, Aurastro shall not be liable for any claims, demands, liabilities, or lawsuits
arising from or caused by the omission, negligence, and/or failure of the customer or member to provide us with their latest information, or
the accuracy and completeness of such information.
XI. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
- These regulations and transactions related to these regulations are governed by Taiwanese law and interpreted in accordance with Taiwanese law.
- Any dispute or controversy arising from or related to these regulations shall, to the extent possible, be resolved through good-faith friendly negotiations between you and Aurastro; in the absence of intentional or gross negligence on the part of Aurastro, Aurastro has the final decision-making power regarding the dispute or controversy. If the negotiation fails and a lawsuit is filed regarding such dispute or controversy, it is agreed that the Taipei District Court in Taiwan shall have jurisdiction in the first instance.
- If any provision of these regulations or any part of any provision is found to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, such provision or part shall be deemed severed from the rest of these regulations, and the remaining provisions and other parts of the relevant provisions of these regulations shall remain in full force and effect.
